A beloved pet supplies chain is set to close several stores, including at least one in Michigan.

According to Fast Company , a business publication focusing on technology, business, and design, Petco is expected to close 25 locations in 2025, the same number of stores it closed in 2024.

That includes a store in Roseville at 32074 Gratiot Avenue.

In an earnings release last month , the company said net sales have declined 2.3% to $1.5 billion for the second quarter while comparable sales fell 1.4%.
