Last month, Silly Nice and stupidDOPE launched a special initiative in honor of Small Business Month: a statewide spotlight on family-owned businesses that shape New York’s identity. The response was immediate and heartfelt. Nominations poured in from residents who wanted their favorite bakeries, repair shops, florists, and neighborhood restaurants to be recognized for their dedication.
Due to overwhelming enthusiasm, Silly Nice and stupidDOPE have decided to expand the program beyond Small Business Month and continue it through the end of the year. The goal is simple but impactful—give visibility to family enterprises that bring character and culture to New York’s neighborhoods while connecting them with a broader audience.
