A moment of silence was held for Charlie Kirk before the first half of an NFL game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sept. 14, 2025.

A memorial service for the late Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative influencer and activist, is scheduled to take place in Glendale, Arizona, this weekend.

Turning Point USA, which advocates for conservative politics on high school and college campuses, extended a public invitation to "Building a Legacy: Remembering Charlie Kirk," an event intended to honor its co-founder, Kirk, who was assassinated in Orem, Utah, about 40 miles south of Salt Lake City.

"Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend," the nonprofit organization wrote in an X post. "The morning of Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Glendale, AZ."

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot at Utah Valley University while hosting a "Prove Me Wrong" table, a series of live debates held at schools and universities across the country. Following a widespread manhunt, authorities in Utah arrested Tyler Robinson in connection with Kirk's killing.

The 22-year-old is facing multiple charges, including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering and the commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child.

Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray announced on Sept. 16 his intention to seek the death penalty in the case.
