HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The Webster County School District introduced a new bus program to ensure students who missed the bus have a second chance to make it to school.

Officials say Second Chance Express will allow school buses to make an additional pickup after the initial run. It is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., for school arrival by 11 a.m..

Specific details on pickup times and stops will be shared with families with a ParentSquare message or a phone call.

How to use Second Chance Express: • Call the bus garage at 270-639-0121 after 7:50 AM or comment on the ParentSquare Second Chance Express group post (comments are private and will only be viewable by the transportation department) • Confirm details: student's name, grade level and home address • The parent will receive
