MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Hogs (2-1, 0-1 SEC) will take on the Memphis Tigers (3-0, 0-0 American) this Saturday, marking the first meeting between the teams since 1998.
Between 1992 and 1998, the two teams met five times, with Memphis getting the better of Arkansas 3-2 in that time. Now, a quarter century later, Arkansas is looking to even things up.
The reunion will take place at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis. Kick off is set for 11 a.m. on Sept. 20 on ABC.
Arkansas is coming off a tough loss in their SEC opener against Ole Miss . However, once again, Quarterback Taylen Green shined, proving to be coach Sam Pittman's not-so-secret weapon.
Arkansas Athletics said Green became the first player in program history to pass for 300-plus yards and rush for 100-plus yards in a game. Si
