It was another week with another milestone win for Compass Academy as the Cougars remain undefeated in nondistrict play.
At 3-0 for the first time, the Cougars defeated Reagan County 41-8 on Homecoming night last week at Ratliff Stadium.
Compass Academy (3-0) got off to another quick start, taking a 20-0 first quarter lead to put the game out of reach.
It was the Cougars’ first win against Reagan County in program history.
“We really made it a point of contention and we talked with our kids last week about how we wanted to defer whenever we win the coin toss and ending the first half and starting the second half with a score,” Compass Academy head coach Boe Smith said. “We try to do that every week.
