It didn’t take UTPB women’s soccer coach Garrett Kull long to get his first win with the Falcons.
Two games into the season and the Falcons are already off to a better start than in recent years, thanks to their goalless draw against Colorado State-Pueblo and a 3-1 win against Wayland Baptist last week at home.
Now, the real challenge begins when UTPB begins Lone Star Conference play against UT-Tyler at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Falcon Field.
UT-Tyler enters this week’s game at 3-0 while UTPB sits at 1-0-1.
UT-Tyler was picked to finish ninth in the conference preseason polls.
