STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- New St. Joseph by-the-Sea coach Nick Como appears to have his team ready to compete with the frontrunners after his Vikings almost pulled off a stunner at their home courts vs. St. Joseph Hill on Monday.
After Hill obtained two quick wins at first and third singles, all eyes were focused on the battle at second singles. Hill’s Cassandra Trinidad took a very competitive first 6-3 and was trying to cement the team win when she served for the match at 5-4 in the second set.
