SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police say they have found 33-year-old Paxson Matthews.

The Spokane Police Department says Matthews arrived in Spokane around Sept. 12 and was last seen in the area of the Ruby River Hotel at 700 North Division.

SPD says Paxson is legally blind and deaf, and has difficulty speaking. He also has significant mobility issues and multiple disabilities that require medical attention.

Police say Paxson is 5 feet 10 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a large zig-zag-shaped scar from ear to ear and has a full beard.

Paxson often wears ball hats or beanies and also carries a brown fanny pack with him, and is likely wearing black dress shoes. SPD says he is known to frequent the South Hill as well as the Gonzaga area.
