The Carmel mansion owned by the late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay sold Tuesday for $11.75 million, less than two months after it went on the market .
The 24,000-square-foot estate that borders Crooked Stick Golf Club and features two separate standalone guest homes was originally listed for $12 million in July. It had a pending offer within days.
Built in 1996, the home sits on 9.4 gated acres and features a Zen garden, seven fireplaces, a private Par 3 golf hole, full nanny's quarters with kitchen, an indoor pool pavilion, a home theater and speakeasy, and a full-size indoor basketball court with Colts markings on the hardwood.
"Subtle touches throughout reflect Irsay’s pride in the Colts organization and his vision of home as a place of both inspiration and retreat,"
