Let the celebrations begin, the Brewers claimed the 2025 Timmins Men’s Baseball League championship at Thériault Field, Monday night.

A six-run first inning left little doubt about the outcome of Game 4 of the best-of-five championship series, as the Brewers went on to defeat the Whiskey Jacks 15-2.

The Whiskey Jacks were the authors of their own first-inning woes, thanks to two hit batters, a pair of walks and an error.

Joey Ouellette, with a two-run single, and Jordan McCloud produced the inning’s only two hits for the Brewers.

The Whiskey Jacks managed to get one of the runs back in the bottom of the inning, as Brett Andrews tripled and Jonathan Minard followed with a single to plate him.
