Penticton city council turned down an infrastructure levy at Tuesday afternoon's meeting.

Couns. Ryan Graham, Jason Reynan, Shannon Stewart and Campbell Watt were opposed in the 4-2 vote.

Mayor Julius Bloomfield and Coun. Isaac Gilbert voted in favour of the staff recommendation to move the current infrastructure levy from a set amount of $2.1 million an nually to an annual contribution of 4.25 of property taxes.
