Portland police on Tuesday identified the man killed in a shooting in the Lloyd District last week as 25-year-old Hassani Musa.

Officers responding to a shots-fired call on Sept. 9 found Musa dead on the sidewalk outside the Louisa Flowers Apartments on Northeast Grand Avenue near Hassalo Street, police said.

Police said the suspect or suspects left the scene. A medical examiner ruled his death a homicide.

It’s not clear what led to the shooting. Court records from this year show Musa’s listed address was the Louisa Flowers Apartments, about 300 feet from where he was found dead.
