Strong storms possible Tuesday night, rain chances continue rest of the week

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Thunderstorms popped up across parts of Siouxland this afternoon. Thunderstorm chances will continue into the overnight hours.

TUESDAY NIGHT

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening and overnight as a cold front moves into the region. A few of those storms could be strong to severe. A Level 1/5 Marginal Risk for severe weather covers the entire area except for far northeastern Siouxland (Dickinson and Emmet counties). Damaging wind gusts and small hail are possible. Low: 60.

WEDNESDAY

Rain and thunderstorms will move into northwest Iowa Wednesday morning and into the early afternoon. A couple storms could bring gusty winds late morning and early afternoon. In western Siouxland, isolated storms could develop in the afternoon.
