Hamilton police are searching for a missing woman known to frequent the downtown.
Police said in a media release Tuesday that Cheryl Roberts, 37, was reported missing by her family on Sept. 5. Her family has told investigators that they have not had “in-person contact” with Roberts for several months.
“While (Roberts) has occasionally phoned them in the past, they have not heard from her recently, and there are concerns for her well-being,” said police.
Roberts is known to frequent downtown Hamilton, particularly King Street.
She is described as a white woman, standing four-feet-11 and weighing roughly 92 pounds. She has short hair that may be dyed blond or red.
