The injury blows keep coming for the Minnesota Vikings.

Top running back Aaron Jones is set to be placed on injured reserve because of a hamstring injury, according to multiple reports Tuesday.

Jones suffered the injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss against the Atlanta Falcons and was later ruled out of the game.

By virtue of being on IR, Jones will have to miss at least four games.

The Vikings are also expected to be without quarterback J.J. McCarthy for two to four weeks after he sprained his ankle against Atlanta.

Jordan Mason, who has 24 carries and 98 yards over the first two games, is slated to replace Jones as the team’s lead rusher.
