SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) — The Sun Prairie Police Department responded to a social media threat involving a student at Patrick Marsh Middle School on Tuesday.
Officers ensured the safety of students and staff during morning arrival, according to a press release.
Police investigated and found no credible or ongoing threat to the school, according to Lt. Ray Thomson of the Sun Prairie Police Department.
"We appreciate the swift action of school administrators," Thomson said in the release. "We also want to thank the individual who came forward with the initial concern."
Community members are urged to maintain vigilance and report school safety concerns.
