PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — Nearly 100 people were arrested during this year's Fall Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, a number that increased from the previous year's event and is more than double the number of arrests during the 2023 Fall Rod Run.
The Pigeon Forge Police Department released that between Thursday, September 11, and the morning of Monday, September 15, 96 arrests had been made. There were a total of 1,027 calls for service, 702 citations issued and 33 crashes. PFPD said the statistics also included the workload of the Tennessee Highway Patrol in the area.
Compared to the previous year, there were 85 arrests during the 2024 Fall Rod Run. The number of citations decreased year-over-year, down from 862 citations during the 2024 event.
