Track issue on Expo Line causing delays

TransLink reports track issues near Patterson Station and is asking passengers to expect delays.

“Expo Line is single-tracking at Metrotown Station and Patterson Station,” said TransLink on X.

1130 NewsRadio has received calls from SKyTrain passengers who report that an announcement said the track issues are due to a fire.

TransLink says the delays started at 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

Passengers should board on platform 2 at Metrotown and Patterson Station until further notice.

The Millennium Line and the Canada Line are unaffected.
