LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Alzheimer’s Association will host a community presentation Sept. 22 in Laredo to share the latest developments in research and treatment options for Alzheimer’s disease.

The event will feature Dr. Maria Carrillo, the association’s chief science officer, who will discuss advances in treatment and global research efforts. The presentation begins at 3 p.m. with registration at 2:30 p.m at The University of Texas Education & Research Center at Laredo located at 1937 Bustamante Street.
