PASCO, Wash. – The City of Pasco is inviting residents to a second listening session to share their opinions on the potential discontinuation of water fluoridation.
This initiative is part of a 90-day notification process by the Pasco City Council as required by a Washington State law that governs how public water systems reach customers about starting or stopping the addition of fluoride.
Pasco has added fluoride to its water supply since 1998 to promote dental health. The council is considering this change as state law does not require water fluoridation.
The next session is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pasco City Council Chambers, 525 N. 3rd Ave.
An online survey is also available for those unable to attend in person.
