The Colombian music artist, 34, will be the first Latina to headline the festival, following Bad Bunny as the first Latino headliner for the fest in 2023.

The milestone accompanies other major records broken by Karol G, including being the first Latina to headline a global stadium tour and her album "Mañana Será Bonito" being the first Spanish-language album by a female Latin artist to top the Billboard 200.

The Grammy winner celebrated the history-making news by sharing a photo of the lineup to her Instagram account Sept. 15, writing , "Coachella 2026, LA BICHOTA ES HEADLINER," adding, "#TROPICOACHELLA MODE ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
