Barbourville City Council finalizes budget, tax rate ordinances with special meeting

BARBOURVILLE — The City of Barbourville held a brief special-called meeting last Wednesday in the Barbourville Fire Department to go over some unfinished business.

There were second readings for two new ordinances: Ordinance No. 2025-6, amending the June 30, 2026 budget for the city, and Ordinance No. 2025-7, levying the Annual Property Tax Rate.
