As a kid, Woody Harrelson says that Robert Redford , along with “his buddy Paul Newman,” would make him say, “That’s what I want to do.”

Following the death of Redford at his Utah home Tuesday morning, tributes from across Hollywood have poured in, celebrating his work as an Oscar-winning actor, director and producer, as well as his activist legacy. Harrelson, who co-starred in the 1993 morality drama Indecent Proposal alongside Redford and Demi Moore, remembers the multigenerational impact Redford, who died at the age of 89, had across the entertainment industry in a statement to Rolling Stone .
