LOUISVILLE, Ky. — You may not know the name Logan Forsythe, but you’ll recognize the men he worked for years to keep out of harm’s way.
“President Trump, President Biden, President Obama… anybody who got protection. I was there,” Forsythe said. “And it wasn't a political job. It was just the job that you did, and it was an oath I took to my country, and I took it very seriously.”
Forsythe, a Democrat, on Tuesday officially announced his bid to represent Kentucky in the U.S. Senate, the seat retiring Sen. Mitch McConnell has held for more than 40 years.
He served as a U.S. Secret Service special agent for three different American presidents across political party lines, alongside a team he says had to put politics to the side.
“Everyone I worked with… we had different beliefs outside of
