GUSTY TODAY...

The gusty east wind did the trick today, pushing temperatures well into the 80s along the northern Oregon coastline and around 90 in the I-5 corridor. Peak gusts reached 25-35 mph in the east metro area and 50-60 mph in the western Gorge.

There were lots of limbs and even a few scattered trees down in the windy areas today since it was the first gusty wind of the fall season.

Typically, our last 90° day at PDX is September 6. Since 2022, it has stretched beyond mid-month.
