'Our son headed off for school in the morning... it was the last time we would see that handsome face'

The heartbroken family of a teenager who was fatally stabbed after school in south Manchester have paid an emotional tribute to him.

The loved ones of 15-year-old Mohanad Abdullaahi Goobe have said 'it is difficult to comprehend' that 'seeing your son head off for school in the morning, would be the last time that we would see that handsome face' following the horror incident near Moss Side on Monday (September 15).

Mohanad has now been named and pictured as the victim who tragically lost his life after the knife attack near Moss Lane East and Monton Street at around 4.30pm. Police had been called to a disturbance and found the teenager with stab wounds before he was later pronounced dead.
