INMAN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Startex-Jackson-Wellford-Duncan Water District has issued a boil water advisory for residents in Inman after a water main break on Tuesday.

Officials said crews responded to a water main break along Hannon Road around 4 p.m. The repair time was estimated to be around four hours.

Residents on Hannon Road, Olin Drive and Martha Court were advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking.

Officials do not believe the water has been compromised and said that water services are being restored to all affected customers.
