A Facebook post on Tuesday from East Jefferson Fire Rescue said the fire destroyed the bathroom.
Crews from East Jefferson Fire Rescue responded to a report at about 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, crews quickly extinguished the fire, the post said.
A window and a light fixture on the Cotton Building also were damaged in the fire.
City crews secured the building and the area is being cleared of remaining debris.
