BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WLOX) - Clayton Pennylegion is on the board of directors at Bay St. Louis Little Theatre, the place where late actor Robert Redford filmed “This Property is Condemned” in 1966.

“Most of us are still absorbing the shock of him no longer being with us,” Pennylegion said.

Pennylegion, a well-known actor in the Bay, has memories of Redford from the 60s.

“I remember seeing him on TV and not so much thinking that’s Robert Redford but seeing his name in the credits as they rolled,” he said.

Pennylegion said it didn’t take long for him to become a fan, and that “This Property is Condemned” leaves a lasting legacy on this theatre.
