Authorities had to implement a brief highway closure along a stretch of I-80 in southern New Jersey late Monday over what just might be an unprecedented concern.

Officials say they got a call about a two-tractor-trailer collision in Warren County's Knowlton Township around 10 p.m. Monday.

According to the investigation, a westbound tractor-trailer carrying a full load of M&Ms rear-ended a parked tractor-trailer near the 2.4-mile marker, tearing open both box trailers and spilling cargo everywhere.

Photos showed a sweet mess.

Initially, there was also a report of a fire, though that appeared to be unfounded.
