CLEVELAND (WJW) - A St. Ignatius High School student was carjacked at gunpoint over the weekend, according to school officials.

The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating an armed robbery that happened around 6 p.m. on Friday, roughly two blocks from the high school.

According to a St. Ignatius spokesperson, multiple suspects approached the student and robbed him at gunpoint, demanding his car keys and wallet.

The victim, who complied, wasn't injured and no arrests have been made at this time, Cleveland police said.

The school officials confirmed that the carjacking happened off-campus.
