LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Lincoln Police Department said a man was arrested after he allegedly recorded women in Target on Sept. 15.

23-year-old Joseph Archambault, of Millville, Massachusetts, was charged with video voyeurism.

Police responded to Target at the Lincoln Mall around 5:30 p.m. after receiving a call claiming that a man was secretly recording women in the store.

Officers arrived and found Archambault, who police said allegedly used his phone to record multiple women “without their knowledge or consent” in the shopping aisles.

Police obtained surveillance footage that “corroborated the received reports” and Archambault was arrested, according to police.
