(FOX40.COM) -- A portion of Interstate 80 in Northern California is shut down after a solo truck and trailer crash, according to the California Highway Patrol. • Video Above: What to do if you witness a crash

Around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, CHP said I-80 westbound near Rollins Lake Road is completely blocked because of the crash. Photos from the incident show a truck and its trailer spread across the highway, blocking all traffic.

The driver has moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital ambulance, according to CHP. There is no estimated time of reopening.
