LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -The Ingham County Circuit Court has ordered a Massachusetts man to take down fraudulent political websites following a lawsuit by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

Donald Peltier operated multiple websites claiming to be associated with the Democratic and Republican parties, according to the attorney general. The websites were set up to obtain donations from the public.

The court order requires Peltier to shut down the fraudulent websites and end attempts to obtain money, or face a fine of $300 per day.

Peltier has two weeks to shut down the websites.
