Child in police custody after threat made toward Whitehouse High School

WHITEHOUSE, Texas — A child was placed into custody after a threat was made toward Whitehouse ISD.

According to a statement sent to Whitehouse ISD parents, the student who made the threat is now facing both school and legal consequences. Officers have been placed at Whitehouse campus this week as a precaution.

Whitehouse ISD officials are urging parents to talk with students about sharing threat-related comments online.
