CHICAGO (WGN) - A death investigation is underway after a man was found dead in an alley Tuesday afternoon in Avondale.

Chicago police said just after 4:45 p.m., officers were sent to the 3000 block of North Milwaukee Avenue and found a 62-year-old man unresponsive in an alley between two buildings.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.

Area Five Detectives are investigating and no other information was released.
