‘What You Just Said Is False’: Ted Cruz Rips Kaitlan Collins for Claiming ‘We Don’t Have a Motive Yet’ For Charlie Kirk Murder

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tore into CNN host Kaitlan Collins and accused her of spreading misinformation on Tuesday after she claimed “we don’t have a motive yet” for the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk .

During an interview with Cruz on about Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University last week, Collins claimed, “We don’t have a motive yet. We don’t know yet, we’re waiting.”

“Of course we know. Come on,” replied Cruz. “We don’t have a motive yet? Really? Really, that’s CNN’s position? He just happened to fire the gun in celebration. You can’t tell the motive here?”
