BOISE, Idaho — A $1.37 million renovation project application was filed to expand the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office space in Boise, according to the City of Boise's website .
The move comes after a massive federal funding increase under President Donald Trump's legislative package, which allocates $75 billion to the agency, a significant increase from its current $30 billion national budget.
The office expansion is at a government-leased building on South Vinnell Way. The project involves gutting and reconfiguring the existing office to add new workspace and storage facilities, according to city building permits filed Sept. 9.
