MANCHESTER, N.H. —

The University of New Hampshire Wildcats fell two spots in the FCS rankings, landing at 25th after narrowly losing to FBS opponent Ball State over the weekend.

The team told News 9 that Saturday's close game could build confidence for the tough schedule ahead.

"We showed a lot of fight, and we were able to come back and actually get all the way down to the wire. Get to that last two-minute drill, so I think the team just showed a lot of toughness," said offensive lineman Tolu Olajide.
