Gwinner farmer Emanuel Rotenberger wonders what made those three mysterious holes in his field. So do a lot of other people.
Rotenberger’s 11-year-old son, Randy, says he saw a “flying saucer or something” land in the plowed field Tuesday morning. Randy says that is what made the holes.
Not until Thursday did Randy’s story begin to circulate in the small community of Gwinner (pop. 242). Now the town is buzzing about the “holes” and the curious have begun trooping out to see them.
