Expect lingering clouds and a stray sprinkle early, then gradual improvement. Wednesday brings brighter skies by afternoon with highs near 80°. Thursday and Friday are beautiful, sunny, comfortable, and mostly rain-free with highs in the low–mid 80s inland and upper 70s to low 80s at the beaches.

This weekend, a front drops south and flips the wind onshore again. Plan on a cooler, breezier feel with highs in the upper 70s coast to near 80° inland. Most of us stay dry, but a brief coastal shower can’t be ruled out. Surf hazards may persist at times due to the returning northeasterly flow, so swim near lifeguards and obey the flags. Early next week we’ll watch offshore for a weak coastal low; for now the rain chance near the beaches stays small.
