YAKIMA, Wash. – Beth Parker of Yakima has been recognized for her outstanding commitment to cancer advocacy.

Parker was awarded the Ambassador Constituent Team Lead of the Year by the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN).

The award was presented on September 14 during the annual ACS CAN Leadership Summit and Lobby Day in Washington, D.C.

This annual accolade is given to a lead congressional district volunteer who has shown exceptional leadership in advocating for ACS CAN’s mission priority areas of cancer-related public policy.
