Prosecutors have told a Broome District Court jury to use "common sense" when determining whether former Roebuck Bay Hotel Manager Stewart Patrick Burchell indecently assaulted staff.

Mr Burchell, 51, has been on trial for more than a week, accused of 13 counts of unlawfully and indecently assaulting staff members and a patron, and one count of sexual penetration without consent, between 2017 and 2023.

The former hotel manager has pleaded not guilty to the alleged offences, telling the court on Monday the accusations were untrue.
