INVESTIGATORS have charged a man after a crash which saw a Rural Fire Service (RFS) truck roll, injuring the driver.
After three months of investigations into the crash at Quipolly, about 55km out of Tamworth, police have charged a man with driving dangerously.
The crash occurred on the Kamilaroi Highway, near Boxhill Road, about 3.20pm on June 26.
The Leader has been told the RFS truck was returning from an earlier truck crash on the same highway when it was hit by a turning vehicle.
The force of the crash saw the RFS truck roll, and paramedics had to help the RFS driver at the scene.
He was treated for various injuries including a suspected broken leg before being flown to hospital for emergency treatment.
