MUSIC producer Sidney “Omen” Brown, who worked with hit stars such as Beyonce and Drake, has died.

Brown, 49, was found dead in his New York City apartment.

His cause of death remains unknown as investigations continue.

Brown's body was found after his co-workers were concerned that he didn't show up to work, as per TMZ .

He had been working as a DJ at a bar in Harlem.

Family members have revealed he died suddenly.

"He was holistic and healthy," devastated sister Nicole told NBC News .

"So we don't know of him being sick, so this is all pretty sudden."

During his music career, Brown won a Grammy Award for his work on Ludacris’ album Release Therapy, which was released in 2006.

He worked on Drake's 2010 song Shut It Down, which featured in his debut album Thank Me Later.
