TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Tallahassee Police are investigating a late-night shooting that left one person injured.

Officers say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Tharpe Street.

Shortly after, a person arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Police report the victim is expected to recover.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and say there is no ongoing threat to the public.

This remains an active investigation.
