Charlie Kirk died last Wednesday, Sept. 10. He was loved by one side of the aisle, and hated by another. But I really don’t think that matters right now. A man was killed in political assassination, and that is a scary thing for our country, and marks a scary time. The 1960s and '70s were some of the most influential periods of American history, marked by the assassination of four great American leaders, and yesterday my mother had a patient tell her that today's times reminded her of them.
