Douglas Snyder had nearly 30 years’ worth of violent accusations against him involving former wives by the time police say he shot and killed his third wife on Sunday in their Perry County home.

Snyder was arrested on homicide charges after Samantha Fields’ young son awoke Monday morning and found his 38-year-old mother lying dead just inside the front door of their home on the 1400 block of New Valley Road in Marysville.
