Tuesday was a banner afternoon for Lee County’s two high schools on the golf course.
The Lee High Generals won the Mountain 7 District tournament, beating Abingdon by seven strokes. Lee's Walker Baker fired a 68 to finish first on the individual leaderboard.
Meanwhile, Thomas Walker won the Cumberland District tourney at Cedar Hill Country Club in Jonesville as the Pioneers beat Castlewood by five strokes. TW’s Brayden Saylor earned medalist honors with an 80.
